Do you mean that you have re-binded some action to the middle mouse button and it still retains its original function? Have you made sure you have unbound the eye zoom function first? (The default middle mouse button action).

I know what issue he is speaking of:
When "zooming in" and you jump over something, it quickly stops zooming in and it goes back to normal.
I've noticed this issue happening on other actions too, when you finish eating food it does the same thing.
