i dont know what exactly you mean by traceroute but i assume u mean checking the server ping in cmd : ping <server ip> -t
so yes i have the server ping in background while i play. and when i get kicked i check the ping to see if i had ping spike or not.
and yes i do have ping spike for like less than 2 second. sometime even less than 1 second and then it go back as normal as it was.
but i still get kicked in these 1-2 second ping spikes
and i still think i shouldnt get kick and wait in queue just for like 1-2 sec lag spikes its really ridiculous and unfair.
it really make the user experience bad

i literally have some friends who have same issue and i seen lots of dayz forums and discussions in steam about this issue

i think this 2 second should be more and player get kicked when lag spike stay for like more than 5-10 seconds
or at least when u get kicked there should be some sort of a counter that when u get kicked u can reconnect without waiting in queue for like maybe 20 seconds ?

please dont asnwer with "get better internet" cause i literally playing dayz since 0.59 and i never ever had this issue before and im using the same internet when i was using 5 years ago. and im only encountering this issue from like last 3-4 patches. and im not the only one who encountering this issue. so please please do something about it cause its literally unplayable for me to play official servers. i only have this issue in official servers i dont have any issues in community servers not even one of them

p.s : specially for people who play with wifi have this issue (im not using wifi though)

I have same problem, getting unstable connection or high ping kick from server randomly and irregular times (sometimes 1 kick every 15 to 30 minutes other times I can play 2/3 hours with no kick) , this never happened before in my 1000 hours in DayZ prior to last patches and I have same computer and same internet, I hope you can fix this. Game is unplayable if you play on servers with queque, and I already died from getting kicked while uncounscious.

I love the game so much and keep the good work, please fix this problem.
