Singleplayer Warlords Saving Bug
New, NormalPublic

Description

Each time I load a warlords scenario in a single player environment with saving enabled it makes me unable access the warlords interface. When the scenario is first started it's fine but after I save and then load back in again it doesn't let me open the WL interface by holding the I key, it just opens my inventory. Also it makes the circle and other indicators of the current objective disappear upon loading a save.

Steps To Reproduce

Load any WL scenario (even the official pbos) into the editor then export it to single player with saving enabled. Launch the mission through 'scenarios', save the game, then load that save afterwards, the WL interface will be unable to be accessed and the circle around the current objective will have vanished.

Additional Information

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a setting I am missing? The previous report I made about this was responded to and I thought single player warlords would be functional in 1.9. It's 2.0 now and it still won't work for me, help!

That's because the save system (general Arma) doesn't save all display/ ui event handlers (and perhaps some other ones but for sure the display/ui ones). If the author didn't take that into account, you can't do anything. Personally, if my scenarios/addons work with key bindings, I add an EH "loaded" (post-init) for re-running these forgottent EHs.

So there is no way to save your progress in a singleplayer warlords environment?

What's the point then? God knows I'm going to play the entire scenario through in one sitting. Would take a stupid amount of time.
