weapon, vests, helmets don't apply the fire geo or something or maybe rvmat I've talked to sumrak about this and haven't seen a fix yet so I'm making a bug report about it I'm really looking forward to making an amazing mod with armor plates but this issue is making it impossible for me to do anything with the chracter gear this video should help clear it up
