I have had a character for a long time in the game. I finally teamed up with a friend, and made it to a base where we logged out. Before logging out, all of a sudden my teammate became 'invisible' except for his gear. His rifle and most of his gear was still visible.
We logged out and 2 days later logged in - this time my character was 'invisible',we left because we thought the server was faulty.
Decided after a month I would start playing again. When connected to the server I experience that there were no sound being made from my survivor, no footsteps, no sounds from turning or moving around, no reload sound, no gunfire, no doors opening/closing etc.
However, I could hear other players moving around, closing/opening doors etc.
I logged out and went back in the next day, when I joined my characters gear started deteriorating in quality, and I died a weird death after a few minutes.
Respawned with a new survivor but still no sound.
I have tried uninstalling and installing the game again to no effect.
