Making markers in the tourist map is no longer working. I have not tried to make one in a really long time, so I do not know how long the feature has been disabled or broken.

Steps To Reproduce
Get a tourist map, open it and attempt to place a marker.
(Been so long I am even unsure about the keybind, it was either shift+click or double click)
Additional Information
I am remembering right though, it has been functional at some point after 1.0 right?
Tested in both 1.10 modded environment and on 1.11 experimental without mods.

Ah thank you, I believe there was in older Legacy builds though, before 0.63. Thank you for clearing that up anyway, then I need not try more key combos!
Regard it as a suggestion though. No indication on the HUD (direction, distance etc) jus a note in that particular map item. Possibly with pen as prerequisite item?
