A player can use the smoking slot to cook food while waiting for their main food to cook. As soon as their main food is done cooking they can replace it with the food they had smoking and more than likely the food will "insta-cook" to whatever state it should become instead of dried

Steps To Reproduce
Cook food in cooking pot/pan
Put additional food in smoking slot
When food that was in cooking pot/pan is finished cooking remove it and replace it with food that was smoking
Additional Information
I suggest making it so that when food is placed in the smoking slot it should not be able to be removed until it is done
