The fishing animation is broken. The action itself finishes correctly while the animation freezes just when the action wheels comes up, the wheel is greyed out and nothing seems to happen, but if you keep the button pressed the line will eventually show up on the rod again and you will find the catch near your feet.

I have only tested with improvised fishing rod fishing on the seashore, on three casts I caught two mackerel and one cooking pot.
