Sometimes when I have to collect an object from the ground I have to take it with the hands before I can put it in my inventory, instead of putting it directly to the inventory.

Is this not an intended feature? after all if you pick something up you have to use your hands or feet as some people can do. just saying! I thought I heard someone mention this in a you tube video but sorry cant be certain.
