When throwing objects, they make no sound when hitting the ground or other objects. Also, there is no splash when throwing objects into water. Throwing objects to distract infected works anyway since the server "tells" them, but there needs to be a sound, for realism and so throwing can actually be used tactically to trick other players.

Any news on this issue? I know from statements from Adam that there is work going on with some physics related issues, would this be included? Thrown object really should have sound effects on impact. (Using the drop item sound effect would work as placeholder.)

Still an issue in 1.13 experimental. Thrown objects need to make sounds so they can be used to trick players as well as infected.
