Steps To Reproduce
- Pick up an item from ground or some other storage.
- Move the item to a slot in your inventory
- Item placement marked turns to green
- Cannot place the item.
- Move the item to the hand.
- Item can placed to the same slot without problem.
Once the above issue is happens it is reproducible.

same thing happened to me yesterday on EXP , had to put away gun .. move to hands, then to inventory , issue since the recent update on exp.. did this on an earlier patch of exp .. now its back
