This was tested with 20 slug rounds and I did not get a single one back. I got about 17 buckshot rounds and the other 3 apparently vanished.
I noticed it when testing load orders on shells in my inventory.

Steps To Reproduce
- Obtain shotgun
- Obtain slug rounds.
- Load slug rounds by holding the 'R' key.
- Eject rounds by tapping the 'R' key.
You will not get your slug rounds back.

He might be confused by the animation, there you will always see the red shotgun rounds being filled into the gun.

It was on a community server though, so who knows...
