If I join a match, I am able to walk around and punch players so they lose health before the game started, position myself closer to the starting loot, and run ahead of other players. Once the countdown timer began, I couldn't move anymore though.
Before I joined the match, I timed out from the last server while I was spectating.

The server crashed and I was sent to the main menu. I then tryed to find another match and only a minute or two later joined a game. The rest of the story is shown by the video :
Sidenote : I wasn't doing anything in the main menu and while loading the game. Just waiting to find and load a game
