I discovered that tail lights are very weak and that they stay on after the headlights have been shut off. They are actually more visible when shut off, at least on the Gunther 2. See enclosed videos. The reverse light also stayed on after I shut the car and headlights off, I had to get back in the car, change to first gear and start the engine for the reverse light to come off.
