This is a foHello,
Thank you for your help and I will do as directed.
I have a question for you... I am running a DayZ Community Server (BigDawg)
When driving the vehicles both the AVA and the Civilian car... we are experiencing extreme yoo-yoo and lag at times, sometime throwing the car to the left, or the right into a tree, or barrier, and ruining the car... It seems like the server is overloaded and then it slingshots?
When some players log on... this erratic behavior is exaggerated, and is game stopping bad! Can not hardly drive without wrecking!
The host assures me (over and over) the CPU and Ram is not taxed and seems fine...
They even put me on a different machine (helped a little but same issue) The server pings from 60-140 constantly changing...
There are only usually 6 players on... The Peak has been 12 players! More than 6 players on the server at once it starts getting very erratic, 12 unplayable..
This is a 40 slot server?????
It is very frustrating and I have lost many players due to this issue... I have been going back and forth with my host provider and NO results?
The only two mods I have installed on the server are BuildAnywhere, and Trader
I have gone to the point I used the Hosts webinterface and did a Clean Save Folder (which I was told cleans all buildings, cars, all data that would affect the server load)
It still is bad! I do have players from the UK and US and they seem to affect the server the same.
IS this normal dayZ lag/yoo-yoo or is this a server issue?
Also it seem car crash sounds are stored in persistence? and before the Clean Save Folder, it seemed even lag at locations was stored? (Experience same lag, same place) etc???
What is the best Host Server I can rent? What would you recommend I do?
Thank you,
BigDawg

Hello Denster.
If you log in as admin on the server (#login *your password* in the in game chat) and then input the following: #monitor 1, what are the server FPS and memory used? Also, can you please provide us with the IP address of your server?
Regards,
Geez
