Recently I came across a bug when I found a Winchester spawn which came with it's magazine, and i could not remove the magazine from it. It was located at the guard house on the north-east side of the NWAF, about half way up the complex. I also tried to remove it by placing another Winchester magazine in my hotbar and tired switching it using the hotkeys, and I tried re-logging too, but no luck unfortunately. I noticed that the rifle did not appear to have a magazine when it was placed on the ground (not sure when I was holding it, didnt check), the magazine only showed up in the inventory screen.

@TrueShotTom Unless you played on a modded server, I'm pretty sure you are talking about the CR-527 [CZ-527 in reality] which is not manufactured by Winchester, but the "Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod" company or CZ for short, a Czech firearms manufacturer.
@Geez I can confirm an issue with ghost magazines on the CR-527 Carbine. A friend had the problem. Much like the recent issue with the SG5 spawning with a 15-round ghost magazine, the same now seems to be the case with the CR-527. From what I know so far it happens when the gun spawns with a magazine attached. Devs hotfixed the issue for the sg5 temporarily by removing it's chance to spawn with a 15-round mag. I believe the same is in order for the CR-Carbine until the spawn configuration is properly set up.
