I keep getting disconnected from every server
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

I have just installed DayZ and I keep getting disconnected from every server. I have tried different servers, public and private with pings ranging between 60-100 and I keep getting disconnected. The error message that shows up is "Session lost". No problems with any other game. I have a very good internet, no problems with it whatsoever (60Mb/s) on any operating system. I use Windows and Linux as well I have never had any issues with my internet provider. I have not made any changes to my operating system whatsoever.

Update #1
I have logged onto a 30 ping server and got disconnected after around 2 minutes. I have tried my both characters. One thing I've noticed is that as soon as I log in and try moving an item from my inventory into my hands nothing happens. When I right-click on a can of sardines or any other item I can interact with the bottom option always says "RECEIVING" and soon after it I get disconnected. It clearly seems like some sort of a connection issue. Buy why did it work fine around 4 months ago and does not work now? 4 months back, when I was playing DayZ, this was the same version. The only thing I did was to uninstall DayZ around 4 months ago and install it again this week so I don't want to believe that this is something on my end. There must have been something along the way that has changed. I have checked the integrity of files and one file was detected to be faulty but it downloaded it again, I re-checked the integrity again and no errors were detected this time. I do not have any other issues with my computer or internet at all.

UPDATE #2
I have just completely re-installed Steam and DayZ but the issue continues to occur.

UPDATE #3
I have uninstalled DayZ, removed DayZ folder in C:/Users/user/Documents/DayZ and reinstalled the game but that didn't help either.

Hello jedi_warrior and thank you for the report.
Are you by any chance located in Poland and have UPC as your provider? As we have got several reports from players with this provider having the same exact issue. Calling the provider and requesting the internet protocol change to IPv4 from IPv6 has resolved the issue for them.
Regards,
Geez

Yes, I am located in Poland and my provider is UPC. Why, then, does any other game works perfectly fine but not DayZ. DayZ worked perfectly fine a couple of months ago and suddenly it does not. Do you imply that UPC does not allow me to play just DayZ? :) What does this have to do with my internet provider?

Being a little bit reluctant to believe what you said I've just given it a shot and called my internet provider and they confirmed that they changed the itnernet protocol from IPv4 to IPv6 in August. The new version of the protocol is something that's been there already for 5 years but not everyone was concerned. It turns out that they made a change just for me then. They've just changed it back to IPv4 and I am going to check DayZ now.

I confirm that it worked.
