The GPS when equipped does not allow for the GPS to be shown. What does show looks like the entire GPS display has been compressed in to one vertical sliver, with all the text data displayed at the top partially visible (compass bearing and position coordinates).

I tried having the GPS display in both the left and right panels and the issue appeared for both.
Additional Information
When I began the Stepping Stone campaign for the Spec Ops option, the GPS worked perfectly, so the issue appears to be limited to Mission 1 of Beyond Hope

Hey Browseidon, I had the same problem, turned out to be that they changed the way the gps's are mapped. If you had custom Layout settings go to options > Game > Layout and select ArmA 3 default and restart the game.
This was the 'issue' in my case. Would have been nice to get a warning tho like when controls got changed in apex etc.

In the description of the changes in the version, there is a note that explains that one of the two windows can now be scaled in the layout setup.
These changes have affected the size and location of your single GPS window.

Indeed this might have caused the issue you are experiencing. In the default layout it does not show, so try redoing your custom layout and let us know if that fixes the issue.
