[Linux, 1.76] Frequent random crashes in Multiplayer Missions
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After updating my Arma 3 Linux Client to 1.76 I started playing the "King of the Hill by Sa-Matra (v9.6)" Mission on "Hostile Takeover" servers with my Windows friends. But the game experiences random crashes and freezes. Sometimes it freezes for 10 seconds or more and then continues, sometimes it crashes completely (either after a freeze, or immediately). I've included the *.rpt files from my "/home/[username]/.local/share/bohemiainteractive/arma3/AppDataLocal/Arma 3" directory.
The crashes seem to happen at random, or at least I haven't found a way to reliably reproduce them. I have tried verifying via Steam, but nothing changed.

Hello.

Could you please try the profiling branch? We do not know which build of Arma 3 dedicated server you have.

List of branches

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Steam_Branches

also our server expert has a BIForum thread

https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/160288-arma-3-stable-server-176-performance-binary-feedback/

Sorry if I didn't make this clear enough, but my problem is with the Linux Client, not the Server. I'm just using it as a player, not hosting any games.
I can see there is a profiling build for the client too, but should I use it, i.e. is it even available for the Linux version?

Small update: Just had another crash, and this time it actually submitted a crash report. It said I should mention the reference "4GCN4AUW68" in my report. I will also upload the Crashlog here, since it seems it might contain more usable information.

After a search I also found a crash dump file in a tmp folder

Another crash report (sadly the corresponding dump files seems to have been deleted from tmp when I updated my system. This time the crash occurred in a different mission, so the only thing in common now is Multiplayer. I will test single player more extensively to see if the crashes and freezes happen there too.
