After I had found out that official and rented servers had been seperated, this is the next issue that arises.
Rented public servers do not share the same hive right now. They each have their own hive and you get a new character for every public rented server you join.
This change has not been communicated with the playerbase in any shape or form. These changes are major and apparently not well tested, so make sure to include this in the patch notes next time.

it seems to be happening randomly.
I got my original character on our clan server: 81.19.216.166:2400
This is a server where the transfer works: 89.163.235.151:2700
Here it doesnt work: 195.122.135.125:2302 , 108.61.112.123:2302
After that, I'm seeing a lot of servers having either character1 or character0 alive. For some it's none, So I'm getting a new one there.

It appears that there is an issue with the hive settings on the server provider side. We have contacted the server provider and they are working on resolving the issue.

Are you the server owner or just a member of the clan? Do you know if the server should be on 1st person only hive or on the normal (1st+3rd person) hive? And also, are you aware that the characters on the first person public servers do not carry over to the servers that are 1st + 3rd person?

I am a member and a server Admin. The server is supposed to be 3rd person public. It is now wiped and appears to be working. The other admins have noticed it being 1st person for a short period of time today and changed it back to 3rd person.
I also just joined a random PUBLIC 1st person RENTED server and I have the character I played with on our old PUBLIC 3rd Person RENTED server.
