Description

Whenever my joystick is plugged in, the game will crash on launch when the splash screen says loading profile options
My joystick is a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force, and it is plugged into a USB 3 port.

*Edit* The game had a one-off launch where the joystick was recognised and i was able to customise controls for helicopters, but when i entered the editor and started playing, the game crashed before it could load into the scenario. After this the game will no longer launch and continues to crash.

Launch the game with the joystick plugged in.

Additional Information

I have verified the Arma 3 files about 4 or 5 times, and have done a system scan to repair damaged windows files. I have also updated my graphics drivers and attempted to use the development branch, none of which worked. The only way to work around the problem is to unplug the joystick, but then if i plug it back in again and scan for controllers the game will crash instantly.

Edit: This does not crash when 32bit is used

can reproduce, crashes game constantly until you power down or unplug the stick, something about force feedback that arma3 exe doesnt like

Hello.
I also have this problem.
The game does not start with the joystick plugged in.
If I unplug the joystick and start the game, i can plug the joystick back after the game is launched but the game will crash if i refresh the controllers in the controls menu.
