but the background noise (static noise, sounds like wind but its not) is way too loud :)

@avix are you talking about the low-frequency rumble that begins as you approach an area with buildings?
If so, I would like to add feedback suggesting that this sound should be removed completely. There's absolutely nothing in the environment that should be causing this sound, and it does nothing for the environment or atmosphere.
This may come across harshly, but I'm beginning to think the sound engineer thinks of DayZ as more of a horror movie than a survival sim.
