View and Movement - mouse binds
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Zoom in: Bound to secondary/primary mouse buttons causes the zoom to stutter for a split second before zooming. Does not happen with keyboard bind.
Zoom out: Bound to mouse 3-5 starts to zoom, then snaps back. Does not happen with keyboard bind. (did not test with secondary or primary mouse buttons as it does sort of work with zoom in)
Move Forward or Turbo: Bound to mouse 3-5 does nothing in this release.

Hello Stansfield_DEA and thank you for the report.
Can you try to remove the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ, run the game again and let us know if the issue still occurs?
Regards,
Geez

Just for clarification, the DayZ folder in my documents should be recreated?

Edit: I moved the DayZ folder from c:\users\*userername*\documents to c:\temp. Launched the game and a new DayZ folder was created in c:\users\*userername*\documents. I setup my keys bound to mouse buttons 3-5 for movement and or zoom, no change. Secondary mouse was set as zoom in, it still stutters before zooming. Mouse keys 3-5 I tested with move forward, turbo, zoom out and they did nothing unless I spam them. Even when spamming the key bound to move forward, the character moved an inch at a time.

I tried using mouse keys 3-4 for zooming. It only works with toggle zoom.
The regular zoom, you have to keep clicking the keybind hundreds of times, it will zoom a little bit each time.

nice, I've never used any of the toggle options before. work-around at least.

Thanks!
