Place down any of the Jets DLC AA turrets, observe combat behaviour.
Additional Information
This seems to be an issue with B_UAV_AI only - spawning an empty turret and forcing a Man to be its gunner results in the radar being turned on. However, the turret doesn't seem to want to attack this way.
