Hi,
I have Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum headphones and whenever i play arma 3 in 64bit (32bit works fine) and i hop into a helicopter in first person (3rd person is fine) i start to hear crackling and i drop to like 1 fps and stutters. A lot of other people seem to have this issue who have logitech headphones.

Hello,
thanks for the feedback.
Would you mind writing down your specs, or better yet, provide a DxDiag?
Thanks
Same problem here. I've got a Logitech G430 (7.1 Surround). If I'm inside a vehicle or in a building the sound is "multiplying" itself. Inside a vehicle (especially in a chopper) the game starts shuttering, FPS drops down to 3 until the game crashes.
When I run the game in x86 mode there's no problem - working properly. Only x64 causes it.
My computer specs
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (6 Cores; 3.5 GHz)
GPU: GeForce GTX 760
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
OS: Windows 7 x64
- DxDiag is in the following post --
Here's the DxDiag... Hope this helps. Answer me / give me feedback if you need anything else. Thank you.
Same issue here,
Everything is okay until i switch into first person.
I have Corsair VOID Wireless 7.1 headphones.
Attaching DxDiag for more info.
Not fixed in Arma 1.70.
Problem still exists in Arma3 x64. If you switch in first-person-mode while you're inside a vehicle or a building the whole sound is "crackling" and your FPS are dropping down. Especially if you're inside a vehicle the FPS drops down to 0 for ~2 - 3 seconds (sounds also crackling there).
DxDiag of my new computer but with older hardware than my first one (something broke in my old computer and idk) is attached.
My PC specifications:
- CPU: AMD FX-4300 (Quad-Core, 3.8 GHz)
- GPU: Radeon r9 380
- RAM: 8 GB DDR4
- OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
- Headset: Logitech G430
Example video "crackling sound": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVsrvo1FWKM.
In the video the FPS are not dropping down near 0, because I'm playing in singleplayer (Virtual Arsenal). But if you're playing on a server you'll experience huge FPS drops.
