If you have just cooked a pot of meat, and hold the pot in hands, you can double click a piece of meat to put that piece into your hands, rather than from the pot into your inventory; the pot will then go into the next default inventory opening. If you drag the pot directly back onto the hands slot, the meat from your hands will go into the pot, rather than trade places, as the blue action shade indicates (a trade of items between inventory locations).
