During a fire fight, I emptied my Glock and reached for my Scorpion and accidently got the melee stick I carry, finally got the Scorpion out and used it. When I left, I put the Scorpion away without checking. Unknown to me, the melee weapon had taken up residence in my backpack thus the Scorpion had no place to go but on the ground. I have had instances like this happen before, very disconcerting if one has spent time collecting ammo, silencer, and magazines for a particular weapon.
