I get this error message while playing in MP with a bunch of mods. It happens randomly, without any fps drop or other artifacts, after about 2-3 hours. Always in the second mission we play during an evening.

There is a common issue on the community server of memory leaks, so we advise people to restart after the first mission. I tried to do it without to see if the new performance build fixed the issue, but it didn't. Since we are using many mods, it could be one of the mods causing the issue, but posting it here just in case it might be something related to vanilla arma 3.
Event Timeline
Hi,
Try to unload these parameters
-cpuCount=5 -maxMem=3071 -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi -exThreads=7
Also try to use different memory allocator
It´d be good to unload all mods and get them back one-by-one, repair or re-download.
and also try the below possible solutions one-by-one:
Try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.
- Restart your computer and launch Steam
- From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
- Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
Try all of the possible solutions listed on the Arma 3 Unusual process exit article on the Bohemia Interactive Community Wiki.
Try switching to and playing on the profiling game branch. After downloading new data verify the integrity of the game cache.
• profiling branch (special performance + profiling build - requires access code: CautionSpecialProfilingAndTestingBranchArma3), alternative download of needed binary possible from Dwarden's dropbox
Try to delete your profile folder (create a backup) a try to start the game.
The file yourprofilename.vars.Arma3Profile must be deleted.
Path: C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Arma 3
So, there is some next solutions.
try to decrease your graphic quality (if you're using ultra set high or medium). It´s possible that your have no more space on your GPU.
reinstall your GPU drivers
Hi,
The issue has occured in case of your registry libraries (kernelbase.dll) or low video memory space.
KernelBase is common Windows .dll located C:\Windows\System32
KernelBase.dll is external DLL which allow multiple software programs to share the same function. For example, the Windows is launched on your PC and you decide to play Arma 3. DLL is non active until you launch Arma 3 which will be written to your memory.
Some programms cause deleting KernelBase.dll so check if you still have it in your PC, if not, download it. I don´t recommend you to download it from non official servers because DLL from there should contain harmful viruses. You can download it directly from Microsoft.
Errors KernelBase.dll may be associated with damage or outdated of device drivers. Drivers can be one day operate without a problem and the next day not. The good news is that you can always upgrade the device driver to solve the problem DLL.
You can use Windows update tool or GPU driver updater provided by developer. KernelBase.dll is often related with HDD space or another discrepancy there. Sometimes, the culprit is any virus so it´s good to scan whole computer.
You can try this link.
or If you´re experienced Win user, you can try this.
I´m sorry for a long description but I hope it will help you to resolve your problem. In any case, we´ll investigate your issue and let you know. It will take some time so I´ll ask you about patience.
Hey Alwin,
I checked the KernelBase.dll, it is there but might be corrupted. I'm currently running SFC to hopefully fix it.
After that I'll also try reinstalling my nvidia drivers and see if windows has any updates.
I'll report back when I have completed it all.
*Update*
KernelBase.dll was not corrupted and I did a clean install of my gpu driver. I will check during the mission tonight if it is fixed.
I had no troubles tonight without restarting, so the clean GPU driver reinstall probably fixed it.
It was not solved, just happened again tonight in the second mission, total in-game time at that point was about 3 hours.
same error message.
The crash was caused by falling Kernellbase.dll because process chain got some fault.
Try to update your GPU, scan PC due to harmful programs.
Also, try to disable all these parameters.
-cpuCount=5 -maxMem=3071 -hugepages -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi -name=NeilZar -nosplash "-mod=@abramia;@Ace;@CBA;@CUP_CORE;@CUP_TERRAINS;@FA18X_Black_Wasp;@isladuala_a3;@JS_JC_FA18;@lingor_a3;@NIArsenal;@RHSAFRF;@RHSGREF;@RHSUSAF;@ShackTac User Interface;@TFR;@Werthles' Headless Module;@ares;@Chernarus_Winter_A3;@Beketov;@TacticalBeards;@VSM - Uniforms;@VSM - Vests and Helmets;@ZADE_BOC;@3den Enhanced;@Enhanced Soundscape;@DynaSound 2;@BC-Phoenix;"
