this is a concept of using "inspect" to find items inside of loot

detailed information inside of the imgur link. will also post to forums.

possible pros:

  • more believable and rewarding scavenging system
  • no more simple "vicnity-browsing"
  • finally making use of the "inspect" option for items

Steps To Reproduce
  • find loot (container)
  • open inventory and see container in vicinity window (container is basically collapsed and won't reveal its contents)
  • use "inspect" feature on item
  • rotate item to x,y,z or t seconds to reveal its contents by showing all available slots of container next to item

unfortunate that you got rid completely of the inspect feature

Hello joe_mcentire.
The inspect feature was not removed. Clicking on item in inventory with middle mouse button will bring up the inspect menu.
