@Nomad52, try the below possible solutions one-by-one:

• Try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.

1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

• Try all of the possible solutions listed on the Arma 3 Unusual process exit article on the Bohemia Interactive Community Wiki.

• Try switching to and playing on the profiling or development game branch. After downloading new data verify the integrity of the game cache. Note that the development branch may contain large and frequent updates, and you will only be able to play online multiplayer on a limited number of test servers.

• profiling branch (special performance + profiling build - requires access code: CautionSpecialProfilingAndTestingBranchArma3), alternative download of needed binary possible from Dwarden's dropbox

If the issue persists after trying all of the above possible solutions then use the Arma 3 Launcher to prepare a troubleshooting report and then upload the report to the feedback tracker for the developers to review.

it is very repeatable
deleting folder did no not help
uploading latest crash report{F46236}

the game starts to lag really bad before the screen freezes every time.
that's when i know i have to restart the game.

think was possible file corruption even though after doing a system file check it came back as nothing was corrupted.
fresh install of windows...fresh install of latest steam and Fresh Dayz
working for the last hour without any issue`s

Добрый день ! Сразу после загрузки игра зависает приходится выходить через диспетчера задач.
Пробовал загружать с модами и без модов одно и тоже, проверка на целостность файлов через стим ничего не дало.
Ошибка 0xCFFFFFFF - STATUS_APPLICATION_HANG

@Slavka4459 You most certainly have not much video card memory and RAM + manually limted paging file size.
Let Windows manage paging file size, set it to auto - don't select any limit for paging file size manually and certainly don't disable it.
Need to restart PC after changes for paging file settings/size.

Добрый день , у меня такая же проблема ! 0xcffffff-status_application_hang.
Не помогает абсолютно ничего .
Не помогла переустановка windows и всех драйверов , переустановка Steam и самой игры Dayz тоже не помогли.
Может кто то всё же знает решение проблемы ? ( от чего вообще возникает ).
После 10-15 минут игры на любом сервере игра зависает и закрывается с этой ошибкой
