I started playing alone at first. A friend joined the game an hour later and 30 min later my game crashed. After restarting the game it started to crash everytime I enter the server browser.
I then tried joining my friend through steam (from outside of the game) which kicked me from the server. I then simply pressed "Play" which bypassed the server browser and put me into the queue. After my friend left the game I was able to get back into the server browser without crashing.
The x64 version of the game didnt crash in the same scenario but no servers showed up in the server browser regardless of filter settings.

Hello Gekker and thank you for the report.
Please upload the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ to some kind of cloud site from which we can easily access the files.

Geez
Thank you.
Can you please check what is the buildID of your version? This can be found by right clicking DayZ in Steam, selecting Properties and then local files. At the bottom there should be "Current content BuildID: *number*. Also, does your friend have a steam name that is longer than 32 symbols or do you have any additional nickname in Steam added to this friend by any chance?
Regards,
Geez
My buildID is: 1501247
My friend has a rather long name but less than 32 symbols and I did indeed add a really long Nickname to that. The nick alone is 64 characters long :)
Unfortunately my friend is currently unable to play with me due to personal reasons so I can't try if removing/shortening the Nick solves the problem.
Hello Gekker.
We are aware that such issue can occur when there are this long nicknames added. Please let us know if the issue persists even upon removal of the nickname once it is possible to check for you with the friend.
Regards,
Geez
