you need atleast two for this bug/glitch. 1 player run ~200m away from you and to the Left or right so he/she is out of sight, then Player 2 zoome in with iron sight, (Prefer a 2H weapon). Now player one run from Left to Right so it passes your view, That person will now be completely naked with no gear what so ever.

Can confirm, I don't think it's specific to iron sights, I think it happens regardless of the scope used. Added screenshot below.
