Zombies push the player backwards preventing player melee attack.

Description

[Location] Global, 10 out of 10 times, .61 experimental

[Statement] When zombies perform a melee attack close enough to the player, the player is pushed backwards effectively cancelling the player's melee attack.

[Expected Result] The player does not slide backwards across the ground when attacked by a zombie, instead holds position and takes damage.

Steps To Reproduce

[To Reproduce]

  1. Obtain any melee weapon.
  2. Engage a zombie in such a way that it melees the user as the user melees it.
  3. Observe how the player's melee does not connect and the player slides backwards out of melee range, but still takes damage from the zombie attack.
Additional Information

[Note] This issue is very prevalent and very frustrating.

This issue can also cause the player to be pushed into a wall/object in such a way that the player becomes stuck and is forced to suicide.
