Rain death sentence
Assigned, NormalPublic

Description

I will no longer play in servers that rain, unless you are by a town you will most likely die of hypothermia. I started getting cold during the rain so went to a town and built a fire in a house fireplace and it did nothing. Number still were going down so fast. I also had 4 heat packs in my shirt and my jacket or fires do nothing so I guess take your pick on what to fix with that.

Body temp does not increase fast enough to compensate the health loss/body temp. Its very hard to start a fire in the middle of nowhere when it's raining, it will just say the fire went out because of the rain. And then you can't start a fire in say like a barn because it says its unsafe. So you are pretty much done. Also it seems the new barracks that just came out this patch is not rain proof and you still get wet, cannot confirm atm.

I just had today were I was inside a building and it started to rain and my blood dropped 1000 in just a few seconds so I logged out and into a non raining server but it took about an hour to get the blood back up then my health finally started to go up. Seems like the balance is way off.

Hello theclassifiedrebel and thank you for the report.
The issue with fireplaces not adding adequate amounts of heat has been fixed and should no longer occur on the current experimental version - please let us know in case the issue still persists. As for the heatpacks, the issue is being currently tested internally - you can follow the primary ticket for updates here https://feedback.bistudio.com/T121118.
Regards,
Geez
