Infected changing targeted character without reason

When an infected (or a group of them) is following a player, and another player is standing in a close area to the event, some of the infected (or all sometimes) change their target and attack the second player, leaving the 1st one run away.

This occurs even if the second player is in a place where infected aren't supposed to see him (watching from a roof or from a window for example).

Sometimes when the second player is behind the scene and the first player runs like 20m in front with 2-3 infected behind him, one of the infected turns around and start chasing the second player who was just looking at the scene, or walking.

Sometimes they just plainly ignore the second player even if he's running around the scene or even attacking the infected.

Steps To Reproduce

Trigger an infected or 2 with a player (1), make them follow him while the other player (2) is close to the event. The infected will switch target.

Additional Information

It happened to me several times today. Once I was on the roof a of a police station, and a player passed by with 2 infected after him. Suddenly one of the infected turned back and came up to the place where I was standing.

This also "almost" happened yesterday, when I was in a similar situation (on top of a police station), and heard as a player run by close to me. Next thing I saw was 2 infected running by, and one started to go back towards me, but then turned back and followed the original direction, gave a couple of steps, and turned back to me again, and again went in the original direction. Was fun to watch.

Hello Bab.D and thank you for the report.
This is an issue we are aware of and it has been scheduled for a fix.

I noticed this also when infected did chase a deer and suddenly switched over to target me although I was quite far away and did not make any loud noise (> 50m distance at least).

I know the devs are aware of the issue, but I wanted to add a clip I saw from a streamer today, as I think it's a perfect example of the issue. Maybe it'll help, maybe it won't.
