This has happened twice in a row now. It all started in Komarovo. I was giving a guy that I met some peppers, and all of a sudden, my game crashed. I logged back, and all seemed well (I spawned where I crashed). I continued playing, and about and hour and a half later, when I was looting Cherno, the server restarts. When I joined back I was back in Komarovo. Now I know when the server restarts, It's supposed to roll back to about 30 seconds before the restart, but I don't think It's supposed to roll back over an hour of playtime. I immediately joined the servers teamspeak to see if this happened to anyone else. They told me that it happened to them too , but they were on a totally different server, so this seemed to be a DayZ-Wide Problem. The same thing happened again a couple hours later when the server restarted again, but It didn't roll my character back and hour because I had only logged in about 20 minutes ago. So it seems to roll back the characters to the last time they logged in.

This is only happened twice, but It was in a row, (Not that the problem stopped, I only had time to play for 2 restarts) Therefore I'm going to mark the reproducibility as "Always"

same problem, I play on a private server since Thursday when there has a restart there is a rollback.
If we disconnected before the restart the problem does not appear.
The problem is probably emerged from Wednesday's maintenance?
Having this issue as well. Server restarted twice and we lost all our progress both times.
After switching servers I logged out/in and had lost all progress once again, there was no restart. A friend did the same but his character was fine.
Had this issue too yesterday. Happened to me a few times on two different servers.

When the server crashes it rolls back your character status to your last login status or to vybor in case you died in the meantime.
I have the assumption that its caused by a glitch or hack. Everytime it happened fully geared player appeared straight in vybor to kill all the freshes.
I also made a post on reddit, with people responding and telling about same experiences.

Happened to me on DayZ Underground EU server at 21-08-2016 11:23 (restart or crash dont know)
Rolled back to last log out position + all gear was reverted too.
HUGE gamebreaker bug / hack.

Happened again, restart / crash dont know. DayZ Underground EU server, August 22 2016 12:41 Rollback to last log out position + gear reverted.
And again 12:53 same server, NO rollback or gear reversion.
(Nevermind I got no message recieved and got disconnected but server was still up)
DayZ Underground EU has reset 2 times in the last 20 minutes, rollbacks and vybor spawns.
DayZ Underground EU server 23 Aug. 2016 9:27 Server restart/crash + slight pull back but not to the point of last log out, gear and energy/hydration reversion to crash point

I have already the same thing again and again the rollbacks and the vybors spawns ...
The rollbacks happens on a lot´s of private servers i know. No idea if happens on pubs also.
It happens on my DayZ4All Servers. 3 Servers on 1 Hive. Servers:

Log Out before a regular server restart saves the character. But a lot´s of crashes happens over the day so after a crash = rollback or if you died before restart / crash you spawn naked at vybor bridge.
So yeah huge game break bug which need to be fixed asap.

Occurred last night 8/22 ~12am ET, server was about to restart, two buddies and I tried to log off in time to avoid this new bug but got caught and our characters were rolled back about an hour and a half of gameplay, personal inventory only was reverted, items picked up from tents over that time were still missing from the tents (i assume the items were lost to the void)

Same situation happened to me 12h ago. Logged in Berezino, got myself all the way to Gorka when my friend changed his jacket (invisible to me) and my game crashed. After relogging, I was back in Berezino, with the very same gear and the same itens I had the first time I logged in the server. The server did not restart between the crash and the relog process. I crashed, my friends were still logged in, I restarted my game and logged in = character save loss.
