tried to drink a spite by dragging into hands and would not, instead it would drag the item to the left of it, a rag.Also tried drinking a PET bottle b right click and it would exclude "drink all" and just say "drink" and/or treat it as a rag by saying "use".Very sporadic bug.

Hello ApocalypZero and thank you for the report.
Did this issue occur to you in windowed mode or in fullscreen? As currently there is a known issue with doubleclicking the window while the game loads in windowed mode, causing menu and game ui to be offset (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T119391).

Hi again, it was in full screen, I do however have 2 monitors to which I alt and tab out the game to report bugs and other tasks on the opposing monitor.Just in case that is of any relevance to ui bugs.
