The FNX45 MRDS and like weapon sights, with battery installed and attachment ON, attachment will not show aiming reticle when attached to weapon and looking down sights. However, if dismounted and held in hand, the reticle can then be seen when looked through. Which makes the attached sights useless to use.

Hello Stan415 and thank you for the report.
I have tested the FNX45 MRDS on current stable branch and i had no issue with the red dot when the optic was attached to the pistol. Can you please retest this? As for the RV1, with which weapon did that issue occur for you?
Regards,
Geez
I've seen this happen, but only while inside some structures. Try panning around with a red dot while inside a military tent and you'll see the red dot disappear.
Hello again.
Just remembered that there is an issue with laser dots in optics not being visible when there is any object close to the character (grass, wall, tree). Could you check if the red dot on the FNX45 works when you are not close to any object?(Standing outside of a building and facing towards the sky should be enough.)
Regards,
Geez
I have confirmed that the red dot on the FNX45 DOES work when not near any structure or object. However, as soon as you get close to any object while looking through the red dot sight, the reticle disappears. As for the RV1, at the time of this submission it was mounted on an MP5 and was experiencing similar issues as with the red dot on the FNX45. Have not had a chance to confirm if in fact the RV1 has the same issue as the FNX45 red dot, or any other sight for that matter
Thank you for the quick response.
In that case I am going to close the ticket, the primary ticket for the disappearing red dot can be found here https://feedback.bistudio.com/T117122. As for the issue with RV1 and MP5, that is also a known issue and it has been scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Geez
