Description

Hi,

Whenever I try to join a KotH server, after I join a team, the game lags out extremely badly for about 10 seconds and then I get the notification "You were kicked off the game.". No explanation is given as to why I am being kicked from servers- I was not banned or anything like that. I asked for help on the arma 3 subreddit but they just said that I had to disable all my mods. I unsubscribed from all my mods and the KotH servers worked again for some time, but now I am getting kicked again.

I have also tried to verify the game cache.

Please help me, I really wanna play KotH and ArmA but this stupid issue where I can't join servers means that I cannot enjoy arma :(

Not applicable, just join Sa-Matra KotH infantry servers and I get "you were kicked off the game" after a period of intense lag

Additional Information

Ping is usually quite good but sometimes increases greatly for a few seconds

Does this issue only occur for you on King of the Hill servers or on any Arma 3 server?

Are you experiencing same issue on any other server and/or on servers that use only vanilla content?

Could you please provide us with the Arma 3 Report files? The easiest way to do that is to go to Launcher > Options > Prepare Arm3 Troubleshooting Report
It will prepare a ZIP file with the reports for you, please upload it to this ticket (Drag&Drop into comment), or (if you encounter any trouble when uploading it here) upload it to some free file sharing service (e.g. Dropbox) and post the link for download here.

UPDATE: This issue also happens on Wasteland servers. The issue does not just apply to playing king of the hill.

yes I did, thank you for that, will look into it.

In the meantime I suppose you have tried only one KoTH server and one Wasteland server. Did you try any other servers with the same game modes? Also did you also try any vanilla game modes and experience the same issue?

I have tried several KotH servers and a few Wasteland servers and none of them worked for me. I will post an update later when I have tried other game modes.

UPDATE: I successfully joined a domination server (vanilla). However, I am still unable to connect to wasteland or KotH servers.

Update: I have successfully joined a couple of KotH servers after joining a few times, and after creating a new profile. I have also lowered my graphics settings and deleted the "Saved" folder and Arma3.cfg.
