I logged out when I was inside a building in the new tipsy military base and now my character is literally under the building, can't get out.

Log out underground.
Event Timeline
This just happened to me too. Logged out while standing on the roof of the new building at Tisy, then logged in and found myself stuck underneath the building that has underground chambers. Fully geared too I might add. Tried all the McGyver ways to force an exit, to no avail. Committed suicide.
I was fully geared too :l spent 2 hours jumping and running like crazy, changing servers and nothing.
Remove structures_houses.pbo from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ\Addons and enter the server you played on. Whether it is public or private matters, so know which one you're stuck on.
After you remove the file (to desktop) and enter the server, RUN until BattleEye kicks you for missing files.
Replace the file and re-enter the server and you will be unstuck.
This will only work if it is a house. If it is a different building, you need to let us know which type of building. Perhaps a screenshot and location would help more.
Theoretically. you might be able to remove all structure.pbo files and it should, have the same effect.
- Right click on dayz in your library and then go to propreties --> local files --> browse local files...
- double click on Addons folder and locate structures_tisy_base.pbo file
- rename structures_tisy_base.pbo to _structures_tisy_base.pbo
- login
- run
- logoff
- rename _structures_tisy_base.pbo to structures_tisy_base.pbo OR
- [Right click on dayz in your library and then go to propreties --> local files --> verify game files.. ] << optional step
Hello,
Sorry to hear about your trouble. If you send me a link to your Steam profile, I can move your character. Example: "http://steamcommunity.com/id/xxxxxxxxxx/"
Also, please let me know which server your character is stuck on (ip + port number).
Thanks,
JStewart
