We have a situation where we disable the group channel. It works more or less good. You cannot use VON and you cannot chat. But you can still switch through the channels and see the group channel. When you then want to chat, nothing happens. This is fine.
However, if you open the chat in side channel and then switch to the group channel via the arrow keys, you can still chat in the group channel.

It also affects VON sometimes. Even if you disable certain channels completely, regardless of if you do it in the description.ext or via script command, people are still able to speak sometimes.
This problem affects the current Exile live release. The masses are literally screaming at each other.
if you spawn in to that mission and use voice in side/group first. your mic gets stuck open broadcasting until you switch to a channel where voice is allowed, e.g. direct, and talk in that channel
