Steps To Reproduce
Go into Eden and manually override the wind to be about 90% and put a paratrooper in the air. even if you land moving at no speed as soon as you touch the ground you slide incredibly fast and die. Wind gusts make it even worse with lower wind.
Additional Information
Perhaps fixing the legacy problem of sliding while in parachute and replacing it with the likes of the LHM parachute fix where you land on your feet would be a good compromise.
