Rovers will not land
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Launching a small rover (untested with anything else) in story mode. The skycrane slows down to >1m/s when 500m above the ground. Would take nearly 10 minutes for it to land.

Additional Information

I think this may be a new bug from the update that was just released. It wasn't happening before that.

Duplicate of my issue reported yesterday(0000027), flight log should be complaining about a single thruster, right?

Incorrect. No boosters are failing (which is part of the game and not a bug).

Thank you for your feeedback!

This issue is currently known to us, please try lowering your "Physics Simulation Detail" in the game's options to see if the descent speed increases.

Still claim #103 is not a duplicate of this. I left my game running for 3 hours and I was so far from the actual map that it was out of sight.
I quote "Would take nearly 10 minutes for it to land."
And just for the sake, my graphics are on the lowest so would "Physics Simulation Detail" be the issue then I can confirm for me it's not.

I really dislike to have the door closed in my face Accolyte, and to say it's a duplicate of this and not want my final word about it I will consider it a door to my face. Thank you.

Sodori, even if the symptoms of your problem are slightly different, the root issue is still the same one: rover landings are bugged. Having multiple tickets for the same issue just with different symptoms is unnecessary.

Thank you, that is words I can go by with and understand.
