I found that it is impossible to use a long wooden stick to cook human steak. It cooks it but instead of showing it on the end of the stick / on the stick in inventory it cooks whilst in your inventory (your backpack or wherever you had it). When the human steak is fully cooked (probably before as well) if you move it around in your inventory it glitches. Duplicate human steaks happen. Pretty much forced to log to fix the problem.
