The "Anti-stab vest" is useless. Give it a "Ballistic" stat.
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

As stated in the title. It offers no protection (not even vs. zombies), no slots, it just takes up the "vest" slot. As such, nobody ever uses it.

If you would add it intermediate level of ballistic protection (between 0.5 and 1), it would instantly become a more attractive item, at least on the coast.

If this is true (no bullet protection at all) then IMHO it should be changed ASAP (it's a quick fix). However such vests don't give much protection and no protection at all when shot with a high caliber bullet.

So the question is if bullets in DayZ are calculated separately (every type of bullet has its own characteristic) and every armor hit is calculated as well separately (every hit is calculated based on a particular projectile).

Hello HrcAk47 and thank you for the report.
This is an issue we are aware of and the item protection will be tweaked in the future stages of development.

Geez

The anti stab vest obviously has visible places where pouches and such can be attached, similar to the ballistic vest so it should have slots

Being that it is an "anti-stab" vest I would not give it any sort of protection from ballistics greater than a .22, instead focusing on slash damage protection.
