I had a Sporter on my shoulder and I was carrying a pump shotgun in my hands. I left a house, walked through the front yard and then paused in order to open the gate in the fence. Immediately before the gate opened, the shotgun appeared, floating between me and the gate, at about eye level. As the gate opened, the shotgun disappeared.

I have witnessed this, perhaps once every 100-150 hours, but I have not been able to discern any sort of a pattern. The shotgun was unloaded, if that is any help.
