Hello Evil Minion.
It is possible that your dayz.cfg file got corrupted and causes these errors. Try to delete contents of your C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\DayZ and C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\DayZ, then run verification of the game cache integrity in Steam and report back to us whether that has resolved the issue or not.
Regards,
Geez

Deleting those files causes the message to disappear but also changes to resolution to what appears to be a blurry 160x90 (not a typo).

Reconfigured and the message seems gone.

Hello Evil Minion.
Upon changing the 160x90, does your video settings save properly and all issues have been resolved? If so, then I will close the ticket.

Geez

Saved properly so it's just the default resolution that is odd. The message did not reappear. Seems to be resolved.

Glad to hear the issue was resolved. Closing the ticket then, but feel free to submit another ticket in case you encounter more issues.

Geez
