Well,is not a real report about a bug but a real displasure about the project. seeing dayz lost many players, servers empty,is really sad. It's not a complaint, unfortunately is the reality. I spent thousand of money, time, energy from day one, with Dayz Standalone, servers, donations, etc etc. I manage a community of thousands people, born with dayz and now is dying with dayz. I would like to show you main causes. People is tired about slowly patch, often full of new bugs without real innovations. You put new weapons, new clothes, new cities...it's ok..it's cool. But you forget that it has been 2 years, h1z1 is out from some months but attracted many people because they can build their bases, their camps, they could move with many vehicles, newest graphics,dx11,64bit etc etc. In dayz this was to be the firts option(base-camp-tents)! Instead there's nothing really works in this way. Tents disappears, loots disappears. No base-camp to build,no costructions to build. Nothing to do Pvp a part and look for supplies. I know it's an alpha. It's ok. But i think it's time to get out something really interesting or you'll lose this project. It's May 2015,people expect changes. I do not want to offend anyone but time is moving on and people is getting tired. Please don't get angry for this. I'm sad while i'm writing these things,i know is a long time project, but it's time to do something really innovative or which give new motivations to play. I had a top 30 standalone server was always full 50/50,now is 216th,always empty. I think something goes wrong. Please, please, please, wake up and go outside with real news!Dayz is dying,it's like a zombie. Seems it turns into nothing, without seeing a real goal.
It's really incredible to see that some modders add more items, vehicles, news(taken from others bohemia's games) more then you,in your game(dayz standalone)!Yes it's really incredible. And their servers are always full. People want those things, you could implement some old addons while you're working on new things. So you could work with less pressure and you could keep users in your servers. Please,do something!Thank you!

I completely agree with the report, this game are going to die slowly.
Bohemia is focused into weapons and dresses, but this game need a lot of bug fixes for servers and gameplay.
A lot of people have good pc, but we can't do more than 30fps in cities.
Servers with 40 or more players suffer of big lags, a lot of them are unplayable.
I agree with this statement.
I have friends trying to convince me to move on to other zombie/survival style games right now.
Lucky for you, I still like this game. ;)
I agree to the post , first dayz was unplayable but believing you were playing in programmers ... I will not write anything about hackers or other serious problems seriously but now my confidence in dayz no longer exists so that one day in the distant 2050, the game will be but ready to continue to tease the players who play not only with the intention to have fun but also to help programmers discovering bugs and hackers trying to throw out of the game . In most people who pay with MONEY a server that "costs " Sorry is an Alpha ...
It's dying because everything is taking forever. Patience is key but it comes to the point where it's getting hopeless for this game. My last game session was last summer in 2014 and I've recently decided to come back a year later to see the progress and literally nothing has changed. You spawn with nothing, and you're hungry. I'm too busy trying to find food instead of trying to find the bugs! In a nutshell, you have these ninja zombies coming after while trying to obtain the basics for survival. But I digress the biggest bug that Bohemia is missing is spawning with nothing, houses with barely any loot, ninja zombies. They should fix this first instead of concentrating on vehicles so we can at least "play" the game, find bugs faster and get more feedback.
Falling on the "its an alpha" crutch has become a joke. It Seems like Dean knew how Dayz would turn out, he took the money and run.
Hello everyone,
Please use the DayZ forums for these kinds of discussions: http://forums.dayzgame.com
I realise that you may not like to hear the "Alpha" reply thrown at you time and again, but the development timeline still stands as it has been for quite some time: http://dayz.com/blog/dayz-moving-into-2015
Beta is not scheduled until Q4 2015, and until then, I don't think you should expect polished builds being rolled out on Steam. Until reaching beta, expect for loads of things to break (sometimes severely break) while the team implements more features/items. That's how game development goes. It would not make sense to polish things now, since later additions to the game might break them again.
In the meantime though, we do hope that players like you guys will keep helping out by filing all the bugs you come across since that info is very much valuable to us.
Regards,
JStewart
