When using the binoculars at night the star field is scaled incorrectly with respect to the surrounding environment (see screen shots).

  1. Use Binoculars
  2. Look along horizon where environment meets skyline.
  3. Stars are enlarged with respect to surrounding environment.
Additional Information

Stars should remain the same size regardless of whether you are using binoculars or not.

This bug also occurs in 3rd person and you are using the right mouse button to zoom your view.

Due to their distance from the earth Stars are essentially fixed and shouldn't move at all. The same thing applies to the moon for all intensive purposes unless you are using the binoculars or some other magnification device which would provide the viewer a very slight "zoom".

This doesn't really affect gameplay at all its simply an inconsistency.

Hey, was about to create a new ticket when I found this ooold one. Dropping in as a reminder that this is still an issue. When using eye zoom or optics, the stars in the sky should not zoom in together with the terrain. They are too distant.
