I just got killed by another player but I could still hear them speaking after I was dead. I believe this is a bug because it doesn't make sense.

Can you tell a little about why you think this don't make sense at all?
I can see what you think that when you are dead you can not speak in real. But this is still a game and why not have the opportunity to speak with those who killed/ got killed?
Many times it can be fun and entertaining and not at least informative depending on the situation ahead of the killing that can justify a conversation in a postmortem stage so to say ;)
Not all of those situations are all about rant and flame throwing back and fort, if that is something you had in mind.

@hugin_q3 I think we're on the same page.
I understand that you like the ability to speak in-game to players even after you're dead or they're dead. But you're also agreeing with me that it's not realistic.
I believe that it is a bug because:
- Live players can speak to dead players but not the other way around.
- Striving toward realism, immersion...etc., the current behavior and VoIP post-mortem in any scenario is not realistic.
So whether the current behavior is accidental or on purpose, I'm reporting that it's "bugged" nonetheless.
Hello warcryr and thank you for the report.
This is an issue we are aware of (#0021838) and it has been scheduled for a fix.
